Today, I completed a challenging lower body workout as part of my CAS activity. My goal was to improve my leg strength, endurance, and overall fitness through an intense training session.
The workout included several exercises targeting different muscle groups in my legs, such as squats, lunges, and machine-based exercises. Throughout the session, I focused on maintaining proper form and control while gradually increasing the intensity. As the workout progressed, muscle fatigue became more noticeable, especially during the final sets.
Although the session was physically demanding, I stayed motivated and pushed myself to complete all exercises. This required both physical endurance and mental discipline, as I had to continue working even when I felt tired. The experience showed me the importance of consistency and perseverance in achieving fitness goals.
In addition to improving my strength, the workout also helped me develop greater focus and self-discipline. I realized that progress in physical fitness takes time and regular effort, and that challenging myself is necessary for improvement.
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken – The intensity of the workout challenged my physical endurance and strength.
