Today, I contributed to my school community by helping with the IBDP entrance exams. My role involved assisting with the organization of the exam, supervising students, and ensuring that the process ran smoothly and fairly.
This experience required a high level of responsibility and focus. I had to carefully monitor the students during the exam, make sure they followed the rules, and respond to any questions in a clear and calm manner. Giving instructions and maintaining a quiet, controlled environment was essential to ensure that all participants had equal conditions.
I also noticed that many students were nervous, which reminded me of my own experiences with exams. This helped me approach the situation with empathy and patience, creating a more supportive atmosphere while still maintaining professionalism.
Through this experience, I gained a better understanding of the importance of fairness and organization in academic settings. Being trusted with this responsibility helped me develop my leadership and communication skills, as well as my ability to stay attentive over a long period of time.
