Today, I continued developing my creativity by taking photos using a vintage Pentax Optio RZ18 camera. My goal was to explore different camera modes and understand how they affect the final image, especially when photographing landscapes, animals, and text.
I experimented with specific modes designed for different types of subjects. For landscapes, I focused on capturing wider scenes and paying attention to lighting and composition. When photographing animals, I worked on timing and focus to capture movement and detail. For text, I explored clarity and sharpness, making sure the images were easy to read while still visually interesting.
Using a different camera encouraged me to think more carefully about each shot, as I had to adjust settings and consider which mode would work best for each situation. This made the process more intentional and helped me better understand how technical choices influence the outcome of a photo.
LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth – I recognized my ability to compose interesting shots while identifying areas to improve, such as adjusting settings more efficiently.
