On the 16th of October, me and my friend created a poster to support our school’s soccer team. Our goal was to encourage school spirit and motivate students to come and cheer during upcoming matches. We designed the poster to be eye-catching and positive, including the school’s name and a fun slogan. Throughout the process, we collaborated on the layout, color choices, and wording to make sure the poster reflected enthusiasm and pride in our school community. Once displayed, the poster was very well received—everyone liked it and commented on how motivating and visually appealing it was.
LO4 – Through creating the poster, I showed that I had planned and initiated a CAS experience, taking responsibility for promoting school spirit and supporting the soccer team.
This activity helped me develop creativity, teamwork, and communication skills while contributing to a stronger sense of unity and support within the school. It felt rewarding to see our poster displayed and to notice more students showing interest in attending the games. Overall, it was a small but meaningful way to give back to the school community and promote school spirit through creative service.
